Warren Whitley, OD

Warren Whitley, OD, is one of the exceptional optometrists serving patients at Optic Gallery South Meadows located in Reno, NV.

​​​​​​​Dr. Whitley received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2008. He is a 2014 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry, where he earned the Dean’s Award for “academic excellence and commitment to fulfill the university’s mission.” He gained a wide range of clinical experience through externship rotations at Orion Eye Center (Redmond, Oregon), Dr. James Cornetta and Associates (Portsmouth, Virginia), Hickam Air Force Base (Hawaii), and the Sierra Nevada VA Eye Clinic.

Following graduation, he completed an optometric residency in ocular disease, refractive and ocular surgery at Eye Care Associates of Nevada. He provides diagnosis and treatment for various ocular conditions, including dry eye disease, allergies, infections, glaucoma, and diabetes-related vision problems, as well as conducting evaluations for cataract surgery and refractive surgery.

Dr. Whitley is Board Certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease.

In his free time, Dr. Whitley enjoys supporting Nevada athletics, beer tasting, golf, softball, and going to the gym.
